Beautiful
Family Prayers
Father God,
We come before You today with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of salvation and for Your everlasting love toward us.
Your Word declares in Deuteronomy 7:14 that “we will be blessed above all people; none of our men or women will be childless, nor will any of our livestock be without young.”
Lord, we stand on this promise today.
We are married and have been trusting You for the blessing of children — twins, O Lord — as a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Please, Father, bless us with the joy of parenthood.
Let our home be filled with laughter, the cries of babies, and the sounds of answered prayers.
Every delay, every disappointment, we lay at Your feet.
Make us fruitful in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We decree and declare that this month, we shall conceive and become joyful parents of beautiful, healthy children.
We thank You, Father, because You are faithful to Your Word.
In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
Father Lord,
We are grateful for the blessings You have given us.
The Word of God says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We thank You and praise You that You knew us before we were conceived by our mothers.
You formed us and knitted us together and breathed life into us.
You know the struggles, sadness, and pain we have endured — feeling inferior, inadequate, and unworthy of parenthood.
Loving Father, You told the first family in the Bible to be fruitful and multiply.
You know our deep desire for a baby — a little one to love, to hold, to care for, and to cherish. But we have not yet conceived, and this grieves us deeply.
Faithful Father, grant that our bodies may conceive and give birth to beautiful, healthy babies in Your holy image, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, help us continue to hope, even when there seems to be none.
Guide us in all our choices so that this conception, our pregnancies, and our children’s births are in line with Your will, in the name of Jesus Christ.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father,
We have been trying to conceive a baby for many years, and we are weighted down with worry, sadness, and anxiety as we seem unable to conceive.
We know that Your encouraging Bible scriptures, which remind us of Your kindness, will cheer us up in the name of Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, please guide us to the Bible passages we need to read, banish this anxiety from our hearts, and help us to focus on You and Your promises.
We pray that You will give us the strength to conceive and give birth to a little baby, as we long to be parents, because it is written that there shall not be a male or female who is barren among Your people (Deuteronomy 7:14).
It has been very hard as each month passes by and we remain infertile. We pray that it may be Your will to make us fruitful, for we know that our times are in Your hands, so that our children may be like olive plants all around our table (Psalm 128:3).
We pray that You will give us the joy of being parents and extend to us Your life-giving power to bring into our home the children that we long for, just as You looked on Hannah and granted her Samuel (1 Samuel 1:17).
We thank You for the calm assurance that You will support us through this time.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Our God, our Rock and our Redeemer, You created us as male and female.
You also gave us the mandate to go into the world to increase and multiply.
We thank You for our salvation that You have given to us.
We seem unable to conceive.
We now pray to You, Father God, that You grant us a little joy — a baby — as You favourably gave to Hannah and granted her Samuel (1 Samuel 1:17), in Jesus Christ’s mighty name.
We pray.
Amen.
